E99 / Bulk Ethanol
After some time selling E85, we have found that some of our customers want bulk ethanol. Our Ethanol is not 100% but it is as close as we can get to 100%, so we call it E99. The difference is additives to make the product industrial ethanol. Please note: Ethanol is classified as dangerous goods. We cannot load the product into a vehicle if the driver does not have their transportation of dangerous goods certificate. You can receive online training here. We do not train people in the transportation of dangerous goods but getting certified is inexpensive and entirely online. The process should take you 3 hours and certification lasts 3 years. We only sell Ethanol by the drum and not by the liter.
Want to Purchase a Drum?
Ethanol is a dangerous good, with that in mind listed below are the things you need to consider before placing an order for pick up:
- You MUST have your transportation of dangerous goods certificate to pick up a drum. There are no exceptions, even if the product is for personal use. We will not load the product into your vehicle if you cannot present us with a certificate.
- A drum will not fit into anything smaller than a pick up truck and you will need to bring straps to strap the drum down.
- You should have some way to get the product out of your vehicle once it has arrived at its destination.
- We will need advanced notice to prepare the drum you plan on picking up, same day pick up is possible but unlikely.
Try making your own ethanol blend. We’ll get you the E99 drum and you do the rest.
Much like our E85, if you want to buy E99, we would like you to sign a waiver, this is a step we add to ensure our customers are aware of what they are buying. Many customers use our E99 to “blend” their own ratio, this is the main purpose of us providing our customers with the E99 option. If you’re looking for a form of ethanol that doesn’t take up quite so much space, one or two Jerry cans should work perfectly for you.
